Alternative Fuels Performance
Today's alternative fuels systems use precise digital sequential injection systems, injecting the required amount of fuel at the correct intake valve at the precise time. This causes the engine to perform at its most efficient level. The benefits are a very low emission emitting engine with maximum fuel economy.
Gaseous Fuel injection greatly reduces the chances of an engine damaging backfire. Precise fueling eliminates the possibility of engine damage caused by over or under fueling.The most important benefit of a precise fueling system is the transparent performance allowing the alternative fuel to perform as well as the gasoline system.
Alternative Fuels systems are typically dual fuel
systems for either CNG/gasoline or LPG/gasoline and are compatible with the
majority of today’s gasoline engines. The
systems are controlled by the OEM computer and enhanced by our interface
computer for precise and accurate fuel control and emission control.

The system interfaces with the OEM onboard computer and allows
for complete onboard diagnostics and OBDII monitoring at all times. This
allows the OEM computer to continue to monitor all systems under its control.
Precise fueling at all times eliminates the need for computer
fixes sending false information to the onboard computer. Diagnostics can
be performed under normal conditions with live data.
Computer Control Options
The system can decide fuel selection based
on sensor inputs. Engine temperature and alternative fuel level can determine
fuel selection. The fuel level control allows the system to auto switch the
fuel back to gasoline when the alternative fuel supply is exhausted. Cold engines start on gasoline and warm up to a
preset temperature and then switch to the alternative fuel.
A fuel selector switch is available to allow the operator to override
the auto fuel selection program in the computer. This option can be locked
out for fleet use causing the vehicle to operate on the alternative fuel
until the supply is exhausted.
Installation - Modular kits for fuel injected vehicles
Modular conversion kits allow for easy installation. The kits are preassembled as far as possible. The underhood components are compact allowing for quick and neat installation. The air cleaner system is left intact, there is no intrusion in any part of the air intake system. The wiring harness is pre assembled for quick connection. Calibration is adjustable allowing for fine tuning and maximum performance with no check engine lights. |
